Lynn Cobb
Author & Photographer of Good Dogs of Service
Hello, my name is Lynn Cobb and I am a photographer. I love my job and I love dogs even more :)) Every story has a beginning and Good Dogs of Service started with a thought to photograph one girl with her guide dog. But the project took off like a dog chasing a tennis ball. Seven years, nineteen photoshoots later, miles across the USA… Good Dogs of Service was published. I photographed so many dogs working in the military, search & rescue dogs, narcotics detection, guide dog service, and therapy work before completing my last photoshoot right here in Charleston SC.
My admiration for these dogs is immense. These dogs have incredible skills, but it takes years of dedication and training. I learned first-hand about the long hours it takes to train. Most importantly, it’s the teamwork and connection between the dog handlers and the dogs that must be strong and loyal..
