I am a professional photographer specializing in portraits of people and creating visual stories of what they do best. I’m the author and photographer of Good Dogs of Service book which features twenty service dogs and working K-9s and their handlers. The project began as a personal photo project which took 7 years to shoot and took me all over the country. With a love of dogs and a talent for photography, I decided it was time to tell this story of these incredible dogs and their dedicated handlers. In addition to capturing life’s treasured moments through the lens of a camera, I also enjoy running, riding horses, and serving the community through various non-profits. When not working, most days she can be found walking with my husband, Chris, and our two Labradors, Brooke and Charlotte, along the trails and moss-draped oak trees near our home in Charleston, S.C.
